The Treasury of Lives

The Petseling incarnation line was named for the monastery of the same name located in near Jakar in Bhutan's Tang valley. Petseling Monastery was founded in the eighteenth century by Jigme Lingpa's student, Drubtob Namgyel Lhundrub, who would become known as the First Petseling Tulku.

Drubtob Namgyel Lhundrub, the First Petseling Tulku, was a student of Jigme Lingpa. He established Petseling Jangchub Pelri Monastery in 1769.

Jigme Tenpai Gyeltsen was the Second Petsaling Tulku, the reincarnation of Drubtob Namgyel Lhundrub of Bhutan.

Jigme Droden Dorje, the Third Petsaling Tulku, was a Bhutanese Nyingma lama.

Kunzang Trinle Namgyel, the Fourth Petsaling Tulku, was a prominent Bhutanese Nyingma lama of the early Twentieth Century.
