Nyenlung, a Nyingma monastery in Serta county in Kham, was founded in 1797 by Lama Sangngak. It is considered a branch of Katok monastery and is famous for having been revived by the twentieth century treasure revealer and teacher Namtrul Jigme Puntsok and his consort Tare Lhamo.
