Asura Cave is a meditation site of Padmasambhava in Pharping, Nepal. It is known as the "upper cave" of Pharping, in contrast to Yanglesho, the "lower cave." According to tradition, Padmasambhava first practiced Yangdak Heruka in Yanglesho, after which he moved to Asura Cave where he combined the Heruka practice with Vajrakīlaya.
