The Treasury of Lives

The Ninth Chakra Tulku, Lobzang Trinle Namgyel (lcags ra sprul sku 09 blo bzang 'phrin las rnam rgyal) was born in Gato Rakshul Pontsong (dga' stod rag shul dpon tshong) in 1915, the wood-hare year of the fifteenth sexagenary cycle. His father was called Tublha (thub lha). After the being identified as the reincarnation of the Eighth Chakra Tulku, Ngawang Tenpai Jungne Trinle Chokyi Gyeltsen (ngag dbang bstan pa'i 'byung gnas 'phrin las  chos kyi rgyal mtshan, 1861-1914), he was escorted to Chamdo Jampa Ling (chab mdo byams pa gling) and enthroned. He was given a traditional education and training, but, in 1933, the water-bird year, he passed away at the age of eighteen.
