McKay Savage
Tsurpu is a Kagyu monastery located in to Tolung Valley in central Tibet. It was founded in 1189 by the First Karmapa, Dusum Khyenpa, and is the seat of both the Karma Kagyu tradition and the Karmapa incarnation line.
