The Trijang Labrang, a three story stone building located in the southwest Lingkhor area, was built in the twentieth century. It was the former Lhasa residence of the Third Trijang, Lobzang Yeshe Tendzin Gyatso, one of the twentieth century's most influential Geluk teachers who was tutor to the Fourteenth Dalai Lama. The structure itself contains paintings, as well as decorative elements from India. It was restored in 2001 and in recent times was the headquarters for the Lhasa Cinema Company.
