The Treasury of Lives

Tharpaling is a Nyingma monastery in the Chume Valley of Bhutan that was initially founded as a Drukpa Kagyu monastery in the thirteenth century by Lorepa. In 1352 Longchenpa converted it to Nyingma. A vibrant center for Nyingma practice, the monastery established a monastic college in 1985.
