Taklung Ganden Damcho Ling is a Geluk monastery in eastern Amdo. Established by Lobzang Dampa Chokyi Nyima as a Kagyu monastery in the late fourteenth century, it was converted in the seventeenth century to the Geluk tradition. Sumpa Khenpo Yeshe Peljor gave teachings there. During the Kangxi period, over 1,000 people resided at Taklung.
