Zurmang Namgyeltse, a Karma Kagyu monastery in Yushu, Kham, was established in the fifteenth century by Drung Mase, who was posthumously titled the First Garwang. A branch monastery, Zurmang Dutsitil, was established soon after by Drung Mase's disciple, the First Zurmang Trungpa.
