Yakdze is a Nyingma monastery outside of Manigango in the Yilhung valley, Kham. It was established in 1687 under the instructions of Pema Rigdzin by his disciple Sanggye Gyatso. Sonam Namgyel famously attained rainbow body there in 1952.
