Tsana Monastery, on the bank of the Dok River in Ngamring, was in existence at least by the thirteenth century, when Shong Lotsāwa Dorje Gyeltsen studied there under Takdepa Senge Gyeltsen. The monastery is in Bukhang Village in Chuok County, Ngamring Prefecture.
