Rinak is a Barawa Kagyu monastery in Sikkim that was initially established as a temple in the seventeenth century by Konchok Gyeltsen, the disciple of the Third Barawa Tulku, Karma Selje and the man who first spread the Barawa tradition to Sikkim. The Seventh Kagyu Tulku passed away at this monastery in 2007.
