Napu Monastery is a Drukpa Kagyu monastery near Dorje Drak. It was founded in the twelfth century by Lingrepa Pema Dorje, a student of Pakmodrupa and teacher of Tsangpa Gyare, the founder of the Drukpa Kagyu tradition.
