The Treasury of Lives

Tibet Heritage Fund

Lotsawa Lhakhang, originally a Drigung Kagyu temple located in Alchi, Ladakh, was likely founded in the thirteenth or fourteenth century. It contains intricate frescoes in the Pala style. In 2015, an extensive restoration to the external and internal features of the site was completed by the Tibet Heritage Fund.
