Jumohor Sangngak Choling, in the Derge region of Kham, is a branch of the Nyingma monastery of Zhechen (zhe chen) and connected with the lineage of Mindroling (smin grol gling). In the mid nineteenth century, the famous scholar Ju Mipam Gyatso entered this monastery as a novice monk.
