Den Chokhor, also known as Denma Chode and Tubten Chokhor, was a royal temple in the Denma region of Derge, on the Drichu (Yangze) River. Kunga Pelden served as its abbot in the fifteenth century. In 1752 Zhuchen Tsultrim Rinchen rennovated it. The Ninth Dalai Lama was born there in 1801, and Jamgon Kongtrul spent time there as a young boy.
