Boudhanath or Jarung Kashor, is a famous stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal. One of the world's largest stupas, Boudhanath is one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist monuments outside Tibet. Many Tibetans famously visited the stupa, including Katok Rigdzin Tsewang Norbu, who is credited with the restoration of the Boudhanath and Swayambhunath Stupas during the eighteenth century.
