Nyetang Mokchok is a Geluk monastery in Chushur county of central Tibet. Founded in the twelfth century by Mokchok Rinchen Tsondru as a Shangpa Kagyu institution, it was convered to Geluk around the fifteenth century and was later considered a branch of Drepung Monastery. In 1959 it had 8 monks
