Gangteng Gon is a Nyingma monastery established by The First Gangteng Tulku, Gyelse Pema Trinle, in Bhutan in 1613. He was a grandson of terton Pema Lingpa, and holder of the "activity" line of his lineage. Gangteng is the biggest Nyingma monastery in Bhutan, and the seat of the Gangteng incarnation line.
