Yakze is a Nyingma monastery outside of Manigango in the Yilhung valley, Kham, a branch of Dzogchen Monastery. It was established in 1687 under the instructions of Pema Rigdzin by his disciple Sanggye Gyatso. Sonam Namgyel famously attained rainbow body there in 1952.
