Pelri Tekchenling is a Nyingma monastery in Chonggye that was initially established by Terton Sherab Wozer under the patronage of Sonam Tobgyel in the sixteenth century. A branch of Katok, it was the birthplace and childhood monastery of Jigme Lingpa. Pelri is the seat of the Pelri incarnation line.
