The Gemang incarnation line is a Nyingma line that was established in the mid-nineteenth century when the Second Gemang, Tenpai Nyima was identified as a reincarnation of Gemang Gyelse Zhenpen Taye Ozer, the founder of the renowned Śrī Siṃha College at Dzogchen Monastery. The line's seats were at Dzogchen and Gemang Monastery.

Gyelse Zhenpen Taye Wozer
b.1800 - d.1855/1869
Gyelse Zhenpen Taye Wozer was a founder and second abbot of Śrī Siṃha, the Dzogchen monastic college. Considered to have been the eighth abbot of Dzogchen Monastery, he was also the founder of Gemang monastery. He was said to have been a reincarnation of Terdak Lingpa.
The Second Gemang, Tenpai Nyima
b.1857? - d.1925
Tenpai Nyima was the Second Gemang of Dzogchen Monastery in Kham. He was a lineage holder of the Nyingma Pratimokṣa Sūtra tradition, and from the age of twenty-five remained in a lifelong retreat.
The Third Gemang, Garwang Lerab Lingpa
b.1930 - d.1959
Garwang Lerab Lingpa was the Third Gemang of Dzogchen Monastery. He was known as a skilled medical practitioner. He died in prison in Dartsedo in 1959 at the age of twenty-nine.
