The Treasury of Lives



Trulzhik Tsultrim Gyeltsen ('khrul zhig tshul khrims rgyal mtshan) was a Sakya lama of the Zhalu tradition. He was a transmitter of the Wozer Drime Lhadruk ('od zer dri med lha drug), the fourth maṇḍala of the Gyude Kundu (rgyud sde kun btus).

He was a student of Gyeltsen Pelzang (rgyal mtshan dpal bzang, d.u.), Ngakchang Rinchen Dondrub Lekpa (sngags 'chang rin chen don grub legs pa, d.u.), and Khedrub Dawa Pelrin (mkhas pa zla ba dpal rin, d.u.). His students included Khyenrab Choje Rinchen Chokdrub (mkhyen rab chos rje rin chen mchog grub, d.u.); the First Choje Trichen, Khyenrab Rinchen Chokdrub (bco brgyad khri chen 01 mkhyen rab rin chen mchog grub, 1436-1497); and Sakya Lotsāwa Jampai Dorje (sa skya lo tsA ba 'jam pa rdo rje, 1485-1533).

He served as abbot of Zhalu Monastery from 1440 to 1466.
