Trulzhik Menpa ('khrul zhig sman pa) was a primary disciple of Tashi Gon (bkra shis mgon, d.u.), a student of Yutok Yonten Gonpo the Younger (g.yu thog gsar ma yon tan mgon po, 1126-1202). From Tashi Gon, Trulzhik Menpa received the transmission of the Four Treatises (gso rig rgyud bzhi), a foundational text of the Tibetan medical tradition.
Trulzhik Menpa wrote on the teachings of Tashi Gon in a composition entitled The Yutok Method (g.yu thog lugs kyi mkhas pa'i phyag bzhes zur bkod), an extant work based on the Yutok tradition of medicine. Exact dates of his birth and death are not known.
