The Treasury of Lives

Khenchen Konchok Tsultrim (mkhan chen dkon mchog tshul khrims) was a fourteenth century Sakya master. The Gyude Kuntu (rgyud sde kun btus) lists him in a lineage of the Dākārnava Tantra, which is depicted in the painting from which the image here is drawn. He was a disciple of Gorampa Kunkhyen Rabjam Sonam Sengge (go rams pa kun mkhyen rab 'byams pa bsod nams seng ge, 1429-1489), from whom he received the Dākārnava, and several other Sakya lamas, including Shakya Gyeltsen (shAkya rgyal mtshan), a Prajñāpāramitā master in the Rongzom (rong zom) lineage.

Among his students were the Rinchen Jungne (rin chen 'byung gnas), also known by his Sakskrit name of Ratnakara, and Gorumpa Kunga Lekpai Lodro (sgo rum pa kun dga' legs pa'i blo gros, 1477-1544), to whom he passed the Dākārnava. He served as the eighth abbot of Zhalu Monastery.
