The Treasury of Lives



Dorje Rinchen (rdo rje rin chen) was a disciple of Jamyang Kunga Sengge ('jam dbyangs kun dga' seng+ge, 1314-1347), the seventh abbot of Ralung Monastery (rwa lung dgon). From him he received the full transmission of Drukpa Kagyu teachings, after which he spent a long period of time in retreat. Among his disciples were Jamyang Lodro Sengge ('jam dbyangs blo gros seng+ge, 1345-1390), the eighth abbot of Ralung.
