Chennga Darma Tsultrim (spyan snga dar ma tshul khrims) served as an attendant to Jikten Gonpo Rinchen Pel ('jig rten mgon po rin chen dpal, 1143-1217) as a young man and later became a disciple of Chennga Drakpa Jungne (spyan snga grags pa 'byung gnas, 1175-1255), the fourth Drigung abbot of Drigung Til Monastery ('bri gung mthil). He was a holder of the three vows and was known for his knowledge and realization.
He served as the scribe for Drakpa Jungne's important texts, such as The Great Public Teachings of Drigung ('bri gung tshogs chos chen mo) and The Precious Dragon's Roar Public Teachings (tshogs chos rin chen 'brug sgra), texts that continue to be used in Drigung institutions.
