Kevin Tobin
Rahor is a Nyingma monastery in present-day Dranggo county, Kham. It was originally a Bon institution that was possibly over a thousand years old. Later it was converted to Sakya and then much later Nyingma. Now considered a branch of Dzogchen Monastery, its reconstruction was spearheaded by Rahor Khenpo Tubten beginning in 1989.
