Karma Tashi was the fourth throne holder of Pelyul Monastery. A relative of the monastery's founder, Kunzang Sherab, he founded Yulkyong Monastery. Following the identification of his rebirth he was posthumously given the title of First Karma Kuchen.

Karma Gyurme Ngedon Tendzin Zangpo, the Second Karma Kuchen, served as the sixth throne holder of Pelyul Monastery. He founded the Pelyul branch monastery of Dartang in Golok.
b.1854 - d.1906
Orgyen Dongak Chokyi Nyima, the Third Karma Kuchen, served as the third throne holder of Dartang Monastery and also the eighth throne holder of Pelyul Monastery.
