The former manor house of the Yabzhi Punkhang family, the family of the Eleventh Dalai Lama. When Khedrup Gyatso was recognized as the Eleventh Dalai Lama, Yabzhi status was granted to his family along with an estate near Trandruk in the Yarlung Valley. The manor house, the Lhasa residence of the family, is a three story stone building constructed in 1843. The structure is still extant and has been converted into a hotel.
