The ancestral clan Dra is composed of: Drakar, Dratra and the Dranak and has many branches such as the Chedruk, the Chukdruk and the Tsendruk. Drakar has 12 branches, although some people also speak of 6 branches instead. Dra is the principal clan from which the people of Zhang Zhung were descended.
