The Treasury of Lives

Phugtal, currently a Geluk monastery located in the Zanskar region of Ladakh, was founded in the fifteenth century by Sherab Zangpo. According to tradition, the location was also visted by numerous other masters including Padmasambhava, Marpa, and Pakpa Nestan Dusdan.
