The Treasury of Lives

Rongwo Tosam Namgyel Ling, in the Rebkong region of Amdo, was founded in 1301 by the Sakya master Samten Rinchen. Originally a Sakya monastery, it was converted to the Geluk tradition in 1630 by Shar Kelden Gyatso. It has three colleges: the Kālacakra College, the Tantric College, and the Dialectic College.
